A new place for choreographic art

The Cercle d'Expression Artistique Nyata-Nyata and its founder, general and artistic director, Zab Maboungou, recently inducted into the temple of Canadian dance by Dance Collection Danse, announce that he and she have just acquired a new place.

Located at 4231, boulevard Saint-Laurent, at the corner of rue Rachel, in the heart of Plateau Mt-Royal, the place will house the head office and activities of the organization.


Indeed, the two-story building, with an area of 4,244 ft2, is intended to house creative, training and research activities, to constitute an anchor point which will promote the development of choreographic art and musical as well as their related arts.

This important acquisition, which marks a major turning point in the organization's progress, was made possible thanks to the unwavering financial support of institutions and our partners.

There are numerous testimonies that honor the ability of the organization, born 37 years ago, to welcome all people interested in art, and in self-development, in its relationship with others.

Also, on this occasion, we wish to pay tribute to those who, throughout time, have guarded the territory where we are and where we have been welcomed.


The organization thanks its collaborators Laurent Howe, Charly Aoude, as well as its funders, the government of Quebec, Center Desjardins Entreprises de la Caisse de la Culture, Fiducie du Chantier de l'évolution sociale and InvestissementQuébec, for their support and trust. , which attest to his ability to envisage the future with the optimism which was always at the heart of his artistic action.
