the choreographer and dancer, Zab Maboungou, fully assumes the role of
the perpetrator of a dance where time never ends. The choreography
reveals a specific progression where voice, body and percussion
supports powerful and voluntary gesture.
INCANTATION is
the authentic example of an "energy dance" where the individual’s force
- indifferent to personal destiny - is manifested through the precise
acts of calling, asking and demanding, culminating in a cathartic
moment when "the caller" becomes "the receiver
